Amazing sunsets over Lake Ontario.
The road leading to the hotel was terrible, filled with deep potholes, made driving in and out a hassle. Check-in was particularly frustrating. I found myself waiting at the locked restaurant door with no clear instructions. I was disappointed with the room assigned to me, as it did not match the lake view I had reserved online.

The room was reasonably large and well-equipped, I greatly enjoyed it, it also included central heating, multi-channel television, and a microwave. A bathtub in the private bathroom was a plus.

Everything was fabulous during 1 day, greatly enjoyed its great location close to nice restaurant which had music til 10 p.m. On weekend and $ 329 for one night at Rainbow Shores. It had excellent food, very very nice and courteous staff. The idea to include a microwave, coffee & tea makers and a refrigerator in the a double room was nice...

This place really has some charm, especially with its fine lakeside location. Each evening, the amazing sunsets over Lake Ontario make for lovely views. I enjoyed relaxing in the adirondack chairs right by the water. The room was clean and offered good comfort, enabling me to sleep to the soothing sound of the waves. There were a couple of hiccups . I was a bit disappointed with the check-in process. I had confirmed early check-in but had to wait quite a bit for someone to arrive. I also found the road leading to the hotel really rough, with many potholes making it a challenge to drive. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful scenery won me over despite the minor issues.

I thought this place woudl be fantastic, but imagine my shock when the check-in girl was confused and i didn't even get my lake view room. On top of that, no one called me back about my early check-in request. Clearly, red carpet treatment is for other guests, certainly not for me. Just couldn't recommend it.

The stunning view of Lake Ontario captured my heart. The cozy room had all the essentials, and I appreciated the charm of the outdoor dining area with its amazing sunsets. The rough dirt road leading to the hotel and the narrow bathroom could use improvement.

Couple getaway, great views
And a room with a fridge and microwave made it easy for late-night snacks. It's the small things, made it nice, like when we had a glass of wine under the stars while the water rippled nearby.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was better than a lot of places we've stayed at.
